Perhaps the water in the nearby stagnant pool was fermented, or perhaps it was suitably aged nectar, but whatever the cause, this wasp seemed a little under the weather.
It splayed its legs resting its body on the log beneath it as though exhausted. Or perhaps it was just soaking up a few rays of sun.
